We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only manage daily on-site operations but also take a leadership role in ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Requirements
- Review and understand project drawings, schedules, and specifications. Manage labor requirements and ensure resources are allocated to meet project needs.
- Accurately calculate and requisition materials, inspect deliveries, and prevent waste of resources, tools, and time. Prepare labor usage and contractor payment reports.
- Direct on-site teams to follow approved procedures and standards. Perform surveying, and conduct inspections to ensure all work meets quality requirements. Track progress against the weekly schedule and prepare technical documents like shop drawings.
- Enforce all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Prepare and submit required work permits.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Maintain thorough project documentation and reports. Serve as the main point of contact for technical issues and assist Senior Engineers as needed.
Requirements
- G.T.I (Civil) / B. Tech (Civil) / B.E (Civil)/ B.A/ B. Sc
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for estimations and scheduling.
- Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
- Proficient in Computer Skills
- Proficient in professional internet and email communication.
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, machinery, and tools.
- Proficiency in estimating for construction work.
- Knowledge of surveying principles and techniques.
- Basic Fire Safety and Construction Safety
- Knowledge of construction QA/QC processes and standards.
Other
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Must be willing to work at the Thilawa Project
